Using the parchment or baking paper or the release paper from the fusible web and starting on a simple area (such as one bowl in the Japanese bowl design), trace all the shapes of one colour with a medium black marker pen. They can be traced close together to save fabric. 

HINT – do not try and trace all the shapes for one colour. Unless you are very organised you will have trouble remembering where they all go. You can number all the individual pieces on your printed version and then on the tracings if you wish.
